Location: Bantham, Devon
The Sloop Inn at Bantham is a historic 14th Century Inn, located in the South Hams area of outstanding natural beauty. Our vision was to incorporate local history steeped in tradition and the folklore into the Interior design. We achieved this through the use of reclaimed materials, using a neutral colour palette and strong imagery, with large black and white photography of Bantham. We also mixed elements of marine life, taking inspiration from mythical sea creatures, tall ships and sailing references. The nautical theme provided a calm, stylish and relaxed space to enjoy good quality fresh sea food in an honest, coastal environment.
