Rashleigh Arms

Project Description

Client: St Austell Brewery

Location: Charlestown, Cornwall

The Rashleigh is an award winning restaurant and pub situated in the famous fishing village of Charlestown. Separated into two sections we decided to give each space its own identity creating a distinctive look and feel to each.

The restaurant design is a contemporary, open planned and light environment, using sun bleached oak flooring and white/light timber chairs, complimented with soft pale pink and pastel blue walls. As a nod to the local china clay industry of the past decorative wall plates are hung as artwork. The main space is zoned with the use of an open bespoke china cup and saucer display, which also acts as a back drop. The public bar had a darker more weathered feel as a contrasted to the restaurant.
