Designed as a family escape by the sea, this replacement dwelling is a contemporary new build that harmonises with the built forms of the surrounding properties. The reverse level space plan maximises the views from the first floor living space. The overall interior aesthetic reflects the style and values of the owners. Their passion for art is combined with rustic bespoke furniture pieces, commissioned to compliment the specified new furnishings. The interior takes influences from the North Cornish coastline with materials such as, washed out timber cladding, graphic wave wallpaper and fabricated lighting, sourced locally.
