With commanding views across to the historical St Micheals Mount, the Godolphin Arms is a beach side venue embracing its location. We embarked on a major renovation programme covering both the interior and outside spaces working alongside the architects and design team. Inspired by the location, the design brings the natural beauty of the beach from the outside in. Relaxed and informal spaces are zoned for drinking, eating and relaxing. Reclaimed wood, organically formed lighting and furniture are sited throughout the scheme which blends with local fine art and sculptures creating a calming atmosphere.
A new two storey light- bathed glass and zinc dining area was added overlooking the beach. A terrace outside and an upstairs balcony creates a seamless connection with the seascape allowing you to walk straight in off the beach.
