Location: Torbay Hospital, Devon
Collaborating with the Devon Partnership NHS Trust, we were engaged to develop the interior design scheme for an inpatient mental health ward at Torbay Hospital. This £12.5 million new build project encompasses various facilities such as treatment and therapy rooms, a family room, 16 en-suite bedrooms, staff offices, a main reception, and a waiting area.
In partnership with Hospital Rooms, our shared vision aimed to transform sterile and unwelcoming spaces into calming and inviting environments. The inclusion of beautiful works of art, carefully curated to complement the tonal colour palette and furniture, plays a pivotal role in achieving this transformation.
