The leisure building complex is positioned at the heart of the Newlands Holiday Park and included the Tow bar, restaurant and Lounge. The interior space was completely re modelled with the introduction of an open plan bar and restaurant. As part of the new design we fitted an open plan kitchen and a new extended bar area, creating a sense of theatre allowing customers to view into the cooking space. The interior entertainment section is an inviting and modern space catering for customers looking for a quiet afternoon or a place to enjoy with the whole family.
We zoned the extensive seating area by using different styles of furniture, colour and bespoke screens. The bar was designed so that it can be viewed from any of the vantage points within the seating areas, including the restaurant, lounge and conservatory. The large conservatory had new additional seating, lighting and decoration which gave this space a light and airy atmosphere, contrasting the intimate lounge. By planning the space we rationalised the seating to allow uninterrupted views of the surrounding Dorset countryside. The conservatory has direct access to a large seated patio which joins the pool and leisure centre.
