Wig and Pen
We’ve created a separate fine dining experience, for the very successful pub in the centre of Truro, The Wig and Pen. The clients wanted a restaurant “which wasn’t too fussy” for customers to enjoy themselves. Quills, is an intimate basement dining room with its own distinctive style. The menu constantly changes and we wanted the space to reflect this, by placing the diner at the heart of an eclectic setting. Implementing good sustainable design practices , the furniture, fixtures and fittings are all re-claimed pieces, many up cycled, to suit their new function. No two seats, glasses or even cutlery are the same. Even the artwork is printed onto vintage book pages adding to the aesthetic.
